Shandong Head Co., Ltd. is an independent producer of cellulose ethers (HPMC, MC, MHEC, HEC, etc.), established in 1992 in Zibo (Shandong Province, China). With two production plants in dedicated industrial zones, over 800 people are employed by Shandong Head.A combined production area of 290.000 square meters and an annual production capacity of 37.000 metric tonnes make Shandong Head amongst the largest of its kind in China. In addition, both production plants are covered by ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 certification, as well as producing cellulose ethers that comply with kosher and halal regulations.
